Wipeout and Revision Cloud Commands in JTS IntelliCAD 11.1
Wipeout:
Creates a wipeout entity, and controls whether frames of wipeout are displayed in the drawing or not.
Wipeout creates a polygonal area that masks underlying objects with the current background color. The wipeout area is created by a frame that you can turn on or off when required . You can also select to display the frame on screen and have it hidden for plotting.
Wipeouts are created using existing polygons, closed zero-width polylines made up of only line segments, or new polylines that you draw while using the Wipeout command.
How to Draw a Wipeout:
- Type the Wipeout in the command bar/ Select the Wipeout from the Annotate Menu
- Specify the first, second and the end point
- Choose Done or Press Enter to close the command
Creating a Wipeout using an existing Polygon or Polyline:
- Type the Wipeout in the command bar/ Select the Wipeout from the Annotate Menu
- Select the Polyline option and select the closed polyline or the polygon to use for the wipeout
- Choose Yes to create the wipeout and delete the polyline used to create the wipeout. Choose No to create the wipeout and keep the polyline used to create the wipeout.
You can also turn the frames on or off when required
Revision Cloud:
Revision clouds are closed polylines that form cloud-shaped objects consisting of arc segments. It will mark areas of a drawing that require further attention.
- Type the Revision cloud in the command bar/ Select the Revision cloud from the Annotate Menu
- Specify the staring point of the revision cloud
- Move the mouse in the required direction where you want the revision cloud to be drawn and it appears on the screen.
How to specify the length of arcs in the revision cloud:
- Type the Revision Cloud command in the command bar/Select the Revision cloud from the Annotate Menu
- Choose Arclength option and specify the minimum and maximum length of the arc required in the Revision cloud and press Enter
Converting an existing entity into a Revision Cloud:
- Type the command Revision Cloud
- Choose entity option and select the entity
- Specify the direction of the arc required and press Enter
A revision cloud is created, and the selected entity remains or is deleted depending on the DELOBJ system variable setting.
